Two improvised ambient set performed and recorded live over two nights at concerts supporting Marconi Union.
It has been almost a year since I performed live in front of an audience, so when I got this invitation, I was very keen.
These concerts were the first time I have been able to produce a video to acompany my set. While each set is complately improvised, having the video behind me gave me a kind of template to play over.
Each set was due to be 40 minutes long but we had some technical issues in Sheffield which drastically shortened how long I had to play.
Many thanks to Marconi Union, Antonymes, Professor Chill, Beautiful Burnouts, the lovely and helpful staff and crews and everyone who helped at Seven Arts in Leeds and Yellow Arch Studios in Sheffield and to the wonderful quietly listening audiences who came to each concert.
Special thanks to my family and friends who came along to the shows.
I will be performing at Weird garden in Lincoln on 20 July, so expect more live music soon.
