Recorded at my home studio while recovering from a hernia operation.
With lots of time, little energy and unable to do pretty much anything else, I spent a few quiet days making music.
In this particular physical state, the music was never going to be uptempo but I found myself having time to reflect. This coloured the music I created.
The tracks on this album are made up of several layered phrases, each in loops of different lengths (similar to Eno's Music for Airports). These phrases shift and interact in different ways as the music progresses.
