Recorded at my home studio while recovering from a hernia operation.

With lots of time, little energy and unable to do pretty much anything else, I spent a few quiet days making music.

In this particular physical state, the music was never going to be uptempo but I found myself having time to reflect. This coloured the music I created.

The tracks on this album are made up of several layered phrases, each in loops of different lengths (similar to Eno's Music for Airports). These phrases shift and interact in different ways as the music progresses.

Reviews of How To Make A Person Whole Again

"How to Make a Person Whole Again does more than hold your attention, it immerses you in its world, similar to the way a dark movie theater deafens all sense of time. When you finish this album, you step back into reality, see the world again, and ponder “What time is it?” The themes of loss, recollection, and recovery have never been so poignant in an album that features no discernable lyrics, and that fact alone makes this release worth checking out." - Arctic Drones

"Just discovered 'how to make a person whole' love it, absolutely 100% calming and good for the soul." - Joe Mchugh on Bandcamp
